Outwardly this is a good old vine Zinfandel tour, however, up on Howell Mountain you will find very expressive, ripe and moving Bordeaux blends as well. I recommend starting this tour up on top of the mountain at Black Sears Winery and working your way down the hill (and down Valley) grab a bite or coffee at the Oxbow Market.
